STOREDGE Showcases Research Progress at Major 2025 Scientific and Innovation Events
October 2025
STOREDGE continued to strengthen its visibility in the European research and energy innovation landscape throughout 2025, presenting its objectives, integrated methodology, and latest technical progress at three important events: the SOLARPACES 2025 Conference, the 4TU.Energy Community Days 2025, and the Joint Workshop of 4TU.Energy & 4TU.High-Tech Materials 2025.
At the SOLARPACES 2025 Conference, held from 23 to 26 September 2025, STOREDGE partners presented a poster introducing the project’s objectives and overall ambitions, spanning from material-level research to reactor and system-level analysis. The presentation highlighted the project’s integrated research approach and shared recent technical developments, including the initial reactor design proposal and the development of an experimental setup for material cyclability testing.
STOREDGE was also featured at the 4TU.Energy Community Days 2025, where the consortium presented both a poster and a pitch. During the event, the project introduced its vision and outlined how its research activities are structured across the material, reactor, and system levels. A poster and pitch were presented at the Joint Workshop of 4TU Energy & 4TU High-Tech Materials 2025, emphasizing STOREDGE’s objectives and its integrated methodology.
By engaging with academic, scientific, and innovation-oriented audiences across these events, STOREDGE reinforced the relevance of thermochemical energy storage as a promising pathway for supporting Europe’s clean energy transition.
